Nice campground good sized sites and good amount of trees. Make sure you have power if you want it.
Wouldve got 5 stars but the bathrooms/shower house needs updated, other than that we always have a great time at camp!
Great place to camp, take walks, access the lake, or have social gatherings! Always clean and well kept. Great camp sites! Reasonable pricing. Many bath houses and restrooms with easy access and wheelchair accessibility! Great playground! Overall nicest campground in the area!
Also, take an hour or so and check out the nearby covered bridge. The Kidds Mill Covered Bridge is about a 15 minute drive from the campground.
Our first time to this campground, and glad we came here. It was also our first time at an Army Corps Of Engineers campground. We scheduled this last minute, so we had to boondock because there were no electric sites available. No big deal, generators were permitted and water was nearby. The grounds are well maintained. The bathrooms/showers older and could use some updating. We will definitely be back to this campground!
Very laid back, quiet, never far from the water and everybody is friendly! I grew up nearby and camped there with my grandparents and aunt and uncle. Now I live in Columbus Ohio and try to get there at least once a year with my wife. It's our favorite campground!
